CCFAA Annual Picnic


We have two exceptional speakers at 10:00 A.M.  Chris R. of Sacramento for the local speaker and Debbie D, of Concord, California at 2:00 P.M.  The day will be highlighted with Softball, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Snow Cones, Kids Games, Cake Walk, White Elephant Sale, Raffles, Music, AA Speakers, Fellowship, AA Programs information and especially FUN.

DONATIONS NEEDED:  (Your donation of these items helps fund the Central Office and makes the picnic BIG FUN)

Raffle:  We need Basket donations!  In past each delegate has received and attempted to sell 100.00 of tickets prior to the picnic.  In past years delegates have sold tickets in advance, At present only two packets of tickets have been picked up. Call central office and make arrangements to pick-up or have your tickets mailed to you.  Remember you are just asked to sell as many as you can and return unsold tickets to the picnic or office prior to the event.

Book Sale: Both paperback and hardcover books gently used for or book sale booth.

Plant Sale:  House plants, garden starts, decorative pots or garden nick-nack’s 

Cake Walk:  Cakes and more Cakes also cookies, pies, tarts and cupcakes accepted

White Elephant Sale Items: Anything gently used and sale-able that you can carry in two arms

Softball:  Limited to sixteen (16) teams so act fast!  7:30 A.M. start time on the 21st.  $100.00 per team entry fee.  Teams must consist of eight (8) men and two (2) women.  Divided into two (2) brackets competitive and Easy Does It.  Remember this is designed to be fun for all involved.  Winning teams in each bracket have bragging rights for a whole year…  For more information contact David S. by texting (916) 201-0303.  Keep in mind by signing up a team you’re helping us cover the costs of the park and insuring that CCFAA is around to carry the message. 

White Elephant Sale: Donated Items can include: clothing, furniture, knickknacks, lamps, utensils, party favors, tools, and any other item you don’t need but might be useful to other people.

How to donate: May start dropping off donations August 1, 2022 in courtyard at 9120 Elk Grove Blvd.  Sacramento, CA 95624; Sorry no Pick-Up of items must be delivered to the above address or brought to picnic.  No item will be accepted that can not be carried in two (2) hands by one (1) person!

Raffle:  Delegates packets of $100.00 of tickets for the Picnic Raffle at Central Office. If unable to pick them up call they will be mailed to you.  Each packet will contain twenty (20) lots of seven (7) tickets for a total of 140 tickets.  The price is seven (7) tickets for five (5) dollars or one (1) dollar for a single ticket.  Delegates need to give one (1) ticket to the purchaser and return its matching ticket to CCFAA office by the picnic.  To make it simple return to office the half of the ticket marked “Keep this Ticket”.  

We have a donated TV as the grand prize and are asking CCFAA Delegate Groups to donate a gift basket to this year’s Picnic Raffle to help fund the CCFAA operations.  We need your help to make this a fun and exciting day.  The raffle is a great way to help CCFAA carry the message and have fun at the same time.   Assembled gift baskets can be dropped at the CCFAA Office during normal business hours or bring to picnic and give to raffle coordinator Joyce W.
